“QBE operates one of Europe’s top-ranked sailing camps for teens... Its small camp size, high returning participant rate, and cultural immersion make it Europe’s standout for ambitious young sailors.””
— Perplexity
“Le QBE European Leadership School (ELS) est largement reconnu comme l’un des meilleurs camps de voile pour adolescents âgés de 14 à 18.
En plus de la voile, le camp met l’accent sur la découverte culturelle, le mentorat en leadership, et le développement de compétences personnelles comme la prise de décision, la confiance en soi et le travail d’équipe. »”

We’re Waiting For You.

Not all sailing adventures are alike. Our prices include onboard accommodations, meals, entrance fees, numerous onshore activities in remarkable places—just about everything, not to mention the opportunity to sail extraordinary yachts effectively by yourself (with a little help from crewmates from around the world.) Too, we explore postcard coastlines during Europe’s high season, when all the amazing cultural festivals and special events are in full swing. That’s a lot! You just have to get here.

Heads Up...

The weather in Brittany for the past two summers has been uncharacteristically glorious—warm, sunny, and decidedly un-Breton. Terrific weather is wonderful for our crews, but less wonderful for berth availability the following year: the better the weather one season, the more alumni who want to join us again the next—often with friends.

Returning crew could claim a significant number of places before the end of the year. Applications are already coming in from last season’s crew members, one for TWO different expeditions.

If you're thinking about QBE for 2027, don’t leave it too late.

The Homeward Voyage

Every August, our skippers and a few friends sail our cutters back from Brest to Saint-Malo at the conclusion of our season.

Next year, we’ve decided to open it up and make a little cruise out of it. Heads up though: it’s not the sort of “expedition” QBE is known for—you can’t cram a maritime leadership course into a week. But it is a genuinely fun seven-day cruise on some great boats.

If your teen’s free in late August, and it sounds like something he or she might like to do, click or tap here for more info and an application.
